The Engineering Training Center of Chongqing Jiaotong University was founded in 2006. In 2013, the center was relocated to the Science City Campus. We adhere to the purpose of cultivating innovative engineering talents, continuously update our teaching concepts, optimize teaching resources, improve the practical curriculum system, and provide a solid foundation for cultivating students' engineering practical abilities.

The courses currently offered by the Engineering Training Center mainly include two categories: metal processing processpracticeandelectrician-electronic practice. The course categories include in-class experiments, open experiments, and labor education courses. The types of work offered include lathe worker, casting, welding, fitter, milling& grinding, material forming, electronic technology, ceramic art, wood art, iron art, etc.

The center covers an area of 5500 square meters and has over 500 sets of instruments, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, electric welding machines, argon arc welding, CNC lathes, machining centers, wire cutting machines, coordinate measuring machines, 3D printers, and some electronic and electrical experimental devices.
